CARE is a ministry whose purpose is to be a Christian voice in the racing community. The purpose of CARE is to be a loving body of Christians that truly love all mankind, and are interested in helping everyone in racing have the opportunity to receive the message of the Gospel. CARE would like to see this presented in a non-threatening way, simply by our presence being known and to never bombard someone with the Gospel that does not have a willing ear.
Christians who are involved in any form of Auto Racing can come to Share and Develop Friendships. Members of CARE should believe that that they are "Born Again" and be willing to share that message at all times (check this out! very interesting!). I have no doubt that it is the will of Our Lord that CARE was formed. CARE needs your support in Prayer and Contributions of Material for this page. With the Lord's blessing, CARE will become a great tool for spreading the Gospel in the Auto Racing Community.
By becoming a member of CARE I feel you accept some responsibility, First of all, is that you remember to pray for CARE and that CARE's ministry will move only in whatever direction the Lord wills for it now and forever.
Secondly, that you will actively support CARE's efforts, within your abilities in your area.
Here are several ways and/or guidelines that I feel would be effective tools for this ministry.
1. That's our presence in the racing community be seen in forms such as prayer sessions, Bible studies, etc. prior to any racing function. I feel this is an important part of any race, even if only to pray for the safety of the participants, drivers, crew, officials, fans, etc. As a member of CARE, you should participate or initiate these activities and lead them when necessary. Most importantly, providing or attending Sunday morning church services at Sunday racing events.
2. Promotion of CARE. Right at the moment the only means we have is through word of mouth and the CARE web page. You should help in this promotion by posting a link on your own page (see logo and link info below) and/or posting messages, maybe even this message to Newsgroups (PLEASE DO NOT POST CARE'S E-MAIL ADDRESS IN ANY NEWSGROUPS) or any other type of acceptable information format. If you have the time and ability to register this page with the Internet search engines, please do. I feel a "bumper sticker" of the CARE logo and a small flyer or card about CARE would be an effective step. If you havethe ability or know of anyone that may be willing to provide these printing services, please contact me. Ultimately, I would like to see CARE promoted with booths at race events and/or sponsoring small parts of certain racing events.
3. Through CARE's promotion and having prayer and church services at racing events, this will
lead to the ultimate purpose of CARE. And that purpose is to be a tool for leading people to the truth and saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16
